I want to thank you so much for your patience as we wind our way through this weedy path! The Spring Music Together® session is very much on my mind and I wanted to give you an update.
I was hopeful that we would be able to enjoy all ten weeks of our Spring semester in person by bumping our start date to April 14th. The private Facebook group for enrolled families was created to tide us over ’til then-- to keep everyone singing and dancing at home, to bring some relief and some joy-- until we could make music together again in the classroom. But it's looking more and more like we will need a longer-term solution. This is heart-wrenching.
I recently participated in a worldwide Music Together meeting and the biggest change to the Spring term would be a move to online classes. The brilliant, creative, and always innovative people who make up the executive team at Music Together Worldwide have been working tirelessly to help Centre Directors around the world establish a longer-term plan that maintains quality and provides value for every family.
I'm sure you have a lot of questions. Please be patient and hang in there with us as we work out all of the logistics (training, technical, and financial). For now, we're asking you to hang on.....we are working as fast as we can to create something wonderful and continue to make music possible for you and your family! We want these classes to be interactive, fun, and of course a beautiful way for you and your family to connect through music. We want more than just screen time. We want a genuine in-home family music making experience!
Big love to you all and I hope you are enjoying one last chance to build a snowman, and time with your littles. Stay safe and if you're out working in an industry that supports us all, thank you, thank you, thank you! We are grateful.
Be well, take care and I promise to be in touch with more details very soon.
